Youth Altar Server Registration

  All applicants must be a baptized Catholic in grades 3 and above who have received their First Holy Communion, are parishioners of Saugus Catholic Collaborative, are willing and able to attend training sessions, and have a desire to serve the Lord and His people.
  
  The commitment is generally 1-2 Masses per month .
  
  The Altar Servers form a very important part of the church and every parish is enriched through their dedication and service. It is a very important responsibility, and requires a sincere commitment. Servers should be mature enough to understand their responsibilities and to carry them out well and with appropriate reverence.
  
  1. All servers are expected to be at the Church 15 minutes before Mass begins.
  
  2. Servers will check in at the Sacristy with the Deacon or Priest to see what needs to be done to prepare for Mass.
  
  3. All servers are expected to fulfill their assigned times to serve.
  
  4. Servers are asked to find a replacement at Mass if they cannot make it.
  
  5. All servers are expected to hang up their vestments after Mass.
  
  7. All servers are expected to pay attention to the Priest and Deacon during Mass.
  
  8. Servers are expected to learn and say the appropriate responses throughout the Mass.
